The scholarship fund is based on a rich scholastic tradition which has been the cornerstone of the Miss America program since 1945. Today, educational advancement, achievement, and public services continue to be the primary objectives for both the Miss America and Miss California Organizations in the face of changing roles for women an American society.

Each year the Miss Garden Grove Organization provides over $5,000 in scholarships to its contestants. Scholarship funds are contributed by sponsors and individuals who commit their support to the professional advancement of young women. There are many levels of participation available to anyone who wishes to support the scholarship fund.
