BECOME A SPONSOR
| Sponsors are essential to the success of our scholarship program. The Miss Garden Grove Scholarship Association actively seeks new sponsors. Our goal is to award over $5,000 in scholarships each year. As a nonprofit, all-volunteer association, with no entry fee for contestants, our scholarship and advancement opportunities for young women depend on the generosity of individuals and businesses. Contributions of $500 or more made specifically to our scholarship fund are tax-deductible. Program book ads and contestant sponsorships (which bring live on-stage advertising at the pageant) may be deductible as business expenses. Sponsorship can be in the form of cash or an in-kind donation of goods or services, such as hotel and meal accommodations for our panel of judges, printing of our program book, refreshments for the post-pageant party, flowers for our titleholders and court and raffle prizes. CONTESTANT SPONSORS
For a $350 donation, our contestant sponsors receive four free reserved-seat tickets to the pageant; advertisement on stage and the cable show as a sponsor, an ad in our souvenir program book and a visit by their contestant to their company or organization. The contestant also wears a badge identifying their sponsor at every community event they attend (approximately 5-10 events). |
SCHOLARSHIP SPONSOR
Contributions in any amount can be made to the Miss Garden Grove Scholarship Pageant. Scholarship donors (over $25) are listed in the program book unless otherwise requested. BECOME A VOLUNTEER
The Miss America Organization maintains one of the strongest volunteer networks in this country. In Garden Grove, many volunteers help to organize the local preliminary competition, promoting community involvement throughout the city. Last year, Miss America volunteers raised over $30 million nationwide in scholarship assistance for young women.
